1. SHIPPING POLICY
Our goal at DIY Auto Parts is to get you what you need in a timely and efficient manner. On most domestic orders for in-stock items, please allow 1-2 business days processing time plus 3-7 business days (depending on your location) for UPS-Ground delivery. Domestic orders of in-stock items with Next-Day or 2-Day shipping will be processed and shipped the same business day (excludes Saturday, Sunday and holidays), if received before 1:00 p.m. EST. For international orders, please allow 2-3 business days processing time plus 6-12 business days for standard delivery. Please note that we are unable to ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. If a product is out-of-stock or not readily available, we will notify you by phone or email and provide an estimated time of delivery. If your order is delayed for any other reason, such as an invalid credit card or shipping address, you will be notified by email or phone of the delay. Currently, we ship to all locations within the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii) and virtually anywhere in the world. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes except for those on U.S. military bases.
Shipping Charges
We currently use UPS, USPS or DHL for all shipments, domestic and international. During the "Checkout" process, you will be given the option of "Standard Ground Shipping", "2-Day Delivery" or "Next-Day Air Service". The shipping charge will be provided prior to finalizing your order. Shipping charges are based on actual product shipping weight and shipping destination. On orders, which have, items classified as "heavy" or "oversized", an increased charge will apply. Some items, including oversized items, are not eligible for Next-Day or 2-Day delivery. If your item is "heavy or oversized", you will be notified by email or phone.
Free Shipping for orders over $50
Our free shipping promotion applies to orders that total $50.00 or more when ordered online. The promotion is limited to shipping destinations within the continental 48 United States. The promotion does not allow free shipping on orders of heavy/oversized items. Orders that qualify for free shipping will be shipped via 3-7 business day delivery service, typically by UPS or USPS. Shipping charges are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. In the rare event that the "actual" shipping cost exceeds the estimate, you will be notified by email or phone. Your approval of any increase in charges will be required prior to the processing of your order.
Please Note: DIYautoparts.com is not responsible for shipping delays beyond our control, such as and not limited to, adverse weather conditions, shipping carrier holiday schedules, natural disasters, packages lost by carrier etc.
Notification when order has been shipped
You will be notified by email when your order has been shipped. We will provide the tracking number and a link to track your order. You may also check the status of your order by calling our toll free number 1-800-593-1443, Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. Orders shipping to APO and FPO addresses will be shipped via US Postal Service.
International orders
Depending on the country where the product is being delivered, other charges may apply such as import duties and customs fees, which may require payment upon delivery. These fees are out of our control and DIYautoparts.com is not responsible for these fees. We recommend that you check with your local customs authority regarding any possible duties or taxes prior to finalizing an order. Restocking fees may be required if an order is returned to us due to unpaid duties, taxes or refusal of delivery.
Verify shipping address prior to finalizing order
To ensure accurate and timely delivery of your order, please verify your shipping address prior to finalizing your order.
Note: Any additional costs incurred by diyautoparts.com due to inaccurate address information provided by the customer, including any shipping and handling costs incurred due to undeliverable orders, will be charged to the credit card account of the customer.
Drop-shipped orders
Occasionally, in our effort to expedite delivery of out-of-stock items, your order may be drop-shipped directly from the manufacturer/supplier. In these cases, we are unable to provide automated tracking information. Often, manufacturers do not ship same-day, so please allow additional delivery time on drop-shipped orders. If you have not received your order in a timely manner, please contact us directly, so we can contact the manufacturer.

2. RETURN POLICY
Your satisfaction is our primary objective.
We believe our auto parts and other products must live up to your highest expectations—and our service must live up to the quality of our products.
We are always delighted to assist you. If for some reason, you need to return part or all of your order, give us a call. We will be happy to help you.
Returns will be accepted within 30 days from original date of purchase under the following conditions: if for some reason you purchased a product you did not need or, if you are not satisfied with a product you purchased from us, you may exchange the product or receive a refund by obtaining a return authorization. (A 15% restocking fee may be charged on any new return for refund.) To obtain and authorization call 315-437-7696 between 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday EST. Items must be in new condition, with the original box, packaging, manuals and accessories. Credit card refunds will be credited to the original credit card. Purchases made by money order or check will be refunded by a company check from DIYautoparts. Refunds or credits do not include original shipping and handling charges.
Approved returns will be processed within 7 business days of arriving at DIYautoparts.
Items not eligible for return include, but are not limited to, are:
- Items that have been damaged or are missing parts
- Items that are not in the original packaging
- Items that have been installed
- Electrical components
- Carburetor and gasket kits that have been opened
Core Returns
All core returns must be sent back in their original box. This is required by the manufacturer for core indentification purpouses. A return authorization is not required to return a core but please include a copy of your invoice.
